The Baptist Union of Wales is keen to appoint enthusiastic individuals to the following posts to work as part of a committed team providing guidance, support and assistance to our Churches.
Mission and Digital Communications Officer
(35 hours per week)
Location: Flexible working patterns with opportunities to work from
home and will include working across Wales.
Job Purpose: To work in two key areas of mission and digital communication to support, develop and implement a strategic programme of mission across the Churches and Associations. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for effective communication and helping the Union and Churches to engage in God’s mission in a technological age.
The successful candidate will be a practising Christian and fully supportive of the Baptist Union of Wales charitable objectives. The nature of the position deems it to be a Specific Occupational Requirement. The ability to communicate in both Welsh and English is essential.
* A flexible job share within the above roles may be considered, or to work in one specific area only on a part-time basis. In addition, it would be possible to give consideration to combine the digital communication work, or mission work, with office based administrative duties in order to create a full-time post.
Salary: £25,991 – £27,741 (SCP 20-23)

Administrator (18 hours per week)
Location: Baptist Union of Wales Office, Y Llwyfan, College Road, Carmarthen.
Job Purpose: To undertake a wide range of administrative tasks in the Office.
A minimum of two years relevant experience is required, an appropriate qualification along with the ability to use Microsoft Office 365. The ability to communicate in both Welsh and English is essential.
Prospective candidates who do not have the appropriate qualifications/experience could undertake training through the Welsh Government training scheme.
Salary: SCP 8-10 (£20,493-£21,322) pro rata
